Configure SMTP E-mail here to send using an external mailserver will work for ASP scripts – Deliver to SMTP server with credentials

IIS 6.0 MANAGER
Configure the SMTP server here to make the PHP mail-function work.
Properties:
Access-Connection – Grant only your own server IP and 127.0.0.1
Access-Relay – Grant only your own server IP and 127.0.0.1
Delivery-outbound security – Basic Auth login details TLS
Delivery-Advanced – Smart Host smtp server name

PHP.INI
SMTP = 127.0.0.1
smtp_port = 25

SERVICES
configure SMTPSVC to start automatic, so you won’t go crazy after your next reboot…

Transparent calender items in Thunderbird

I am not the only person with this problem:
Something calendar entries in Lightning register as status Tentative and it shows in a different transparent shade of the calendar color. I can manually change the status to confirmed directly in lightning however that is a pain. Plus, it sounds crazy but having these entries a different shade/color drives me nuts.

trash Zoals u wellicht gemerkt heeft zijn de regels voor het versturen van email naar Gmail en Hotmail aangescherpt. De voornaamste reden voor het verscherpen van deze regels is om de hoeveelheid spam te reduceren bij de genoemde providers.

Kindly ask the sender, most likely using an iPhone, to do the following:

In Apple Mail, go to the menu Edit > Attachments
Make sure the following settings are checked:

Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments
Always Insert Attachments at End of Message

ABOUT SENDING EMAIL
The IMAP mail protocol is preferred over POP mail nowadays. IMAP is a more recent protocol. When using IMAP, the contents or your email boxes will be synchronized and are therefore the same on all your devices and on your provider’s mail server. So if you delete a message, it is really gone everywhere.
